Gemma Watkins

Gemma has worked in the Welsh Housing Sector for over 20 year. She is member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, and having worked for Local Authorise and traditional RSL’s she is currently Director of Operations within a community based Welsh Housing Association.

Gemma has served on several Boards as a Non-Executive Director and has previously judged submissions for the CIH Cymru Welsh Housing Awards.

A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Gemma believes in inspiring the next generation of housing leaders and ensuring the sector continues to evolve. As a judge for the People in Housing Awards, she brings deep operational expertise, a passion for tenant voice, and a commitment to recognising those who make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
