Richard Clark

With over 20 years of experience in housing, Richard Clark has seen first-hand how housing management has evolved. His work is firmly centred on understanding residents and their needs, with a strong personal commitment to community building and creating sustainable, thriving neighbourhoods.

As Head of Housing and Neighbourhoods at Bournville Village Trust, Richard oversees key housing management functions including income, anti-social behaviour management and lettings. Alongside this, he is currently leading the development of a Supporting People strategy, strengthening the organisation’s work with residents across all age groups.

Bournville Village Trust’s long-standing legacy of building strong, connected communities closely reflects Richard’s own values, and he takes great pride in contributing to an organisation that is deeply rooted in the communities it serves.

As a member of the advisory panel for the People in Housing Awards, Richard brings extensive sector experience, strategic insight and a strong focus on resident outcomes.
