Across housing associations, local authorities and contractors, people are dealing with increasing regulation, rising resident expectations, pressure on services, tight budgets and constant change.
But too often, the conversations about those challenges stay within individual organisations.
We created People in Housing to open those conversations up.
We connect people from across the sector through podcasts, roundtables and awards, creating more opportunities to share ideas, experiences and honest conversations about what's really happening in social housing.

Who's behind People in Housing?
People in Housing was founded by Niyaa People, a Birmingham-based recruitment agency specialising in social housing.
We recruit for housing associations, local authorities and contractors across the country, from housing officers and repairs teams to asset managers and senior leaders. Working that closely with the sector, we kept hearing the same thing. People wanted more chances to network and learn from each other, and there weren't many places to do it.
So we built one.
You won't get a sales pitch on the podcast or at a roundtable. People in Housing is the community we think the sector deserves, and we're proud to run it.
