People in Housing?
People in Housing was created to bring the social housing sector closer together.
Social housing doesn't stand still.
Across housing associations, local authorities and contractors, people are dealing with increasing regulation, rising resident expectations, pressure on services, tight budgets and constant change.
Different organisations. Many of the same challenges.
But too often, the conversations about those challenges stay within individual organisations.
That means useful experiences, lessons and ideas don't always travel as far as they could.
We created People in Housing to open those conversations up.
People in Housing connects people from across the sector through podcasts, roundtables and awards, creating more opportunities to share ideas, experiences and honest conversations about what's really happening in social housing.
Because someone, somewhere in housing, has probably faced a version of the challenge you're dealing with today.
The more we share what we've learned, the stronger the sector becomes.
Our ethos
This isn't about polished corporate networking.
It's about building a genuine social housing community where people can speak openly, learn from each other and connect with others who understand the pressures they're facing.
A place where it's just as valuable to talk about what hasn't worked as what has.
Where good ideas don't have to stay within one organisation.
And where the people doing the work have the opportunity to learn from the people doing it elsewhere.
Because social housing works better when its people work together.
